PNN – The Omani Foreign Ministry announced that negotiations between Tehran and Muscat would continue at both technical and political levels.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Oman’s official news agency reported that the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran held meetings in Muscat to discuss maritime security and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
In light of recent regional developments, the two sides consulted on ensuring the safety and freedom of navigation along this vital route.
Oman and Iran emphasized the continuation of negotiations at both technical and political levels to reach necessary agreements based on international law.
The meeting aimed to manage the repercussions of recent tensions and maintain stability in one of the world’s most important maritime passages.
Oman’s Foreign Ministry: Talks between Tehran and Muscat to continue at technical and political levels
Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced an agreement between the two sides to continue consultations between Muscat and Tehran aimed at reaching an agreement regarding security in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, Al-Busaidi and Araghchi emphasized the necessity of continuing negotiations to reach an understanding concerning the Strait of Hormuz.
The ministry stated that discussions between Oman and Iran would proceed at both technical and political levels to achieve the necessary agreements.
