Pentagon: Number of US troops wounded in overseas operations has increased.

PNN – The U.S. Department of Defense’s casualty tracking system has reported an increase in the number of military personnel wounded in overseas operations.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; official U.S. Department of Defense figures indicate that the number of U.S. troops wounded in overseas operations linked to Iran has risen to 268.

The Department of Defense’s casualty tracking system reported that these figures, updated as of July 31, include 238 Army personnel, 21 Navy personnel, and 9 Air Force personnel. Additionally, four U.S. service members—all from the Army—have lost their lives in these operations.

This figure represents an increase of 32 compared to the previous day; the number of wounded personnel recorded on July 30 had stood at 236.
