PNN – The former head of the Iran desk at Israeli military intelligence, citing the presence of the IRGC and Aerospace Force commanders at the funeral of the martyred leader, stated that the Iranians are confident in their security measures.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; CNN—quoting Danny Citrinowicz, the former head of the Iran desk at Israeli military intelligence—reported that the Iranians are monitoring potential aerial and ground threats during the funeral procession of the country’s late leader. They do not wish to take any risks; consequently, they have implemented security measures across all levels and domains.

He added that the presence of several Iranian officials—including the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps—at the funeral ceremony demonstrates that the Iranians are confident in their security measures, despite being aware of the risks.

Earlier, CNN had reported the large-scale deployment of security and military forces across Tehran, noting that concurrent with the ceremony, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned against any potential actions by the United States and the Zionist regime, emphasizing that any “miscalculation” would be met with a decisive response.

Seyyed Majid Mousavi, the commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, appeared in public for the first time since the war to bid farewell to his commander.
