PNN – According to a report by a Zionist newspaper, 28 percent of the regime’s police officers have resigned since the Minister of Internal Security took office.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Anadolu Agency the Zionist newspaper Haaretz revealed that 28 percent of the regime’s police officers have resigned since Itamar Ben-Gvir was appointed Minister of Internal Security in December 2022.
The newspaper stated that these figures were presented during closed-door meetings focused on the issue of manpower shortages within the Israeli police force.
According to Haaretz, the data also indicate an increase in police recruitment during Ben-Gvir’s tenure; however, more than a quarter of the new recruits have been assigned to the “Border Police” or the so-called “National Guard”—a force operating under the regime’s Ministry of National Security.
The report notes that, despite recruitment efforts, there remains a shortage of over 2,000 officers across the regime’s police stations and traffic divisions.
