PNN – The independent senator from Vermont, criticizing the policies of the U.S. President, stated that Donald Trump does not care about rising gasoline prices in the United States.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Bernie Sanders wrote on the social media platform X on Sunday night: Trump finally said out loud what was supposed to remain hidden.
He added: As long as Trump’s billionaire friends are raking in massive fortunes, he couldn’t care less about rising gas prices. It is very rare for Trump to tell the truth, but last night, he spoke the truth.
Sanders also reposted a campaign video featuring Trump.
In this video—released in the context of the country’s midterm elections—Trump says: We are making money like never before. People say, ‘The U.S. President is bragging about the huge sums of money being raked in, while people are struggling at the gas pumps.’ I couldn’t care less. We are making a fortune.
Ahead of the November 3rd congressional midterm elections—and while grappling with the economic fallout of an unprovoked aggression against Iran, rising inflation, and the price of Brent crude reaching approximately $117—U.S. President Donald Trump has once again promised that a swift end to the war would lead to a decline in the prices of oil and energy products.
As the November 3rd midterm elections approach, the U.S. economy is contending with mounting inflation, declining consumer confidence, and slowing economic growth; meanwhile, disruptions to the global oil supply—stemming from the war against Iran—have driven up energy costs and placed increased strain on household budgets.
