PNN – The Telegraph newspaper wrote that Iran’s cheap drones have changed the equations of modern warfare.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Telegraph newspaper examined the role of Iran’s cheap and suicide drones, especially the so-called “Shahed” models, in changing the nature of modern warfare.

The report says that despite widespread sanctions, Iran has been able to produce very low-cost suicide drones priced at around $20,000 to $50,000, which have had significant strategic effects on the battlefield.

According to the newspaper, these drones have been used in Middle East tensions and attacks on Israel and US bases, and have shown that they can overwhelm very expensive air defense systems such as the Patriot in mass attacks.

The Telegraph emphasizes that the sharp gap between the low cost of attack and the high cost of defense is changing the balance of the world’s military equations in favor of countries with fewer resources.
