PNN – A British newspaper has published a report highlighting the distinctive capabilities of one of Iran’s suicide drones.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; The Telegraph reported that Iran’s “Hadid-110” drone flies at high speeds. Powered by a jet engine and capable of exceeding 300 miles per hour, this new drone is designed to penetrate US air defense systems.
The report notes that the Hadid-110 stands out due to its speed and stealth characteristics; the drone is equipped with a turbojet engine.
The report specifies that the drone is launched using a solid-fuel booster, which accelerates it to the required speed and altitude before the jet engine ignites, thereby enabling rapid deployment on the battlefield.
The report further notes that its high speed affords it a significant advantage in combat.
According to the report, this new weapon—unveiled in the midst of the conflict—represents more than just a display of firepower; it serves as a testament to the resolve and determination of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
