PNN – While the Trump administration has stirred up controversy by posturing to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, revelations by a former U.S. congressman have shown that Washington itself keeps a plan to use nuclear bombs on the table.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; citing the Jordanian news outlet “Roya,” a ludicrous and glaring contradiction exists in U.S. foreign policy: while the Donald Trump administration incessantly beats the drums of threats and sanctions based on the baseless and repetitive claim of “preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons,” new revelations from behind the scenes of Washington’s think tanks have exposed fresh dimensions of the double standards held by these self-proclaimed champions of human rights.
Former U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene revealed that White House officials, during their strategic meetings, had considered the option of directly using nuclear weapons against the Iranian nation—a decision she termed “pure evil,” while calling for an end to the madness of American warmongers.
Alluding to the country’s dark history—specifically the 1945 bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan—this American politician emphasized that available data confirms the validity of these dangerous scenarios.
Challenging Trump’s fabrications, the politician noted that even documents from the U.S. intelligence community itself have repeatedly confirmed the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program, and that Washington is merely using this issue as a pretext for its own illegitimate adventurism.
