PNN – Bahrain’s trade value fell by 14.5 percent in the first quarter of this year due to the impact of the war against Iran.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; According to the latest published statistics, the value of Bahrain’s trade transactions in the first quarter of this year (2026) has decreased by 14.5 percent under the direct and destructive impact of the terrorist war between the United States and the Zionist regime with Iran.

During this period, the value of the country’s imports has experienced a sharp drop of 17 percent and its non-oil exports have also fallen by 10 percent.

As the smallest economy in the region, Bahrain is considered the most vulnerable country to this war because, unlike some of its neighbors, it does not have access to any alternative land or sea trade routes that bypass the Strait of Hormuz.

Under normal circumstances, oil exports provide half of Bahrain’s government revenues, but this lifeline has now completely stopped.
