PNN – Successful Iranian strikes against hostile targets in the UAE have prompted Emirati officials to reconsider the implementation strategy for one of their most significant projects.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; informed sources speaking to Reuters revealed that, following the Iranian attacks, the UAE is quietly re-evaluating a 5-gigawatt artificial intelligence data center project—one of the largest of its kind outside the United States.
The sources noted that while the project was originally slated for construction on a 26-square-kilometer site in Abu Dhabi, the UAE now intends to develop it across multiple locations throughout the country following the successful Iranian strikes.
The UAE is also exploring ways to protect its facilities against Iranian missiles and drones.
Last March, two Amazon-affiliated facilities in the UAE were targeted following Iran’s decisive response to US acts of aggression launched from Emirati soil. It should be noted that US bases in Persian Gulf countries have become legitimate targets for our country’s armed forces due to Washington’s aggression against Iran.
