PNN – The US President expressed concern regarding the impact of a defeat involving Iran on the country’s congressional elections this November.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al Jazeera; US President Donald Trump stated that the Iran issue could harm the midterm elections.

Amidst rising fuel prices that have put Americans under pressure and fueled dissatisfaction with the Republican Party, Trump promised that oil prices would drop rapidly once the conflict with Iran concludes.

While vessel-tracking firms report a blockage of the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. President claimed that the volume of oil currently passing through the strait exceeds pre-war levels.

Trump—who has spoken of Iran’s demise hundreds of times over the past year alone—once again asserted that Iran is finished, stating: I must make a decision now: either Iran signs the deal, or it will cease to exist.

At a time when international bodies have confirmed the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program, the US President claimed that Tehran has agreed not to possess nuclear weapons.

Responding to a question regarding allegations made by officials of the Zionist regime against Iran, the US President also stated that if Iran were behind the attack on the aircraft, it would suffer a very severe blow.
