According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al Jazeera, US President Donald Trump claimed on Wednesday—ignoring the peaceful nature of Tehran’s nuclear program—that Iran was merely two weeks away from acquiring a nuclear weapon, adding, “So, I eliminated that possibility!”
The US President, seemingly unwilling to recall his own country’s use of atomic bombs against Japan, asserted: If we had allowed Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon, they would have used it by now, because they are crazy!
Donald Trump then reiterated baseless claims aimed at driving down global energy prices, asserting: We control the Strait of Hormuz; yesterday, we destroyed 28 boats and ships belonging to the Revolutionary Guards! I managed to prove my point!
