PNN – The US President Donald Trump claimed that an agreement between Washington and Tehran will be signed within the next 48 hours.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, US President Donald Trump claimed that an agreement with Iran will be signed within the next 48 hours.
He added that the country’s military forces will remain in the Persian Gulf region “for some time.”
In a statement, Trump defended Iran’s missile program, saying: When other countries have ballistic missiles, it is not fair that Iran does not have any ballistic missiles.
Trump’s remarks come as US officials have previously announced the finalization of a 14-point draft agreement with Iran and said the document would be signed in Switzerland in the coming days.
According to reports, the agreement includes a cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon, and a framework for final negotiations between the two countries.
