Trump threatens to attack Oman over Strait of Hormuz

PNN – The US President, who is frustrated by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, threatened the Sultanate of Oman that it would be targeted if it tried to prevent the waterway from being open.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing CNN Arabic, US President Donald Trump stated that the Strait of Hormuz will be open to everyone, claiming that the US will protect it.

He continued by saying that the opening of the Strait of Hormuz is part of the ongoing negotiations with Iran.

Trump also warned about Oman’s role in the matter, saying: Oman will behave like any other country; otherwise we will have to blow it up.

Asked about the possibility that he would agree to a short-term agreement that would allow Iran and Oman to manage the vital passage, he said: No, the strait will be open to everyone.

The US president claimed: Nobody will have control over international waters. We will secure them, but no one party will take control of them.
