Trump’s claim: A return to war with Iran is highly unlikely.

unlikely

PNN – The U.S. President claimed that if progress is made in negotiations regarding Tehran’s nuclear program and the Strait of Hormuz is reopened, it is “highly unlikely” that aggression against Iran would occur again!

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; U.S. President Donald Trump—in an interview with CNN today, Sunday—claimed that should progress be achieved in talks concerning Tehran’s nuclear program and the Strait of Hormuz be reopened, it is “highly unlikely” that he would order a return to war with Iran! This statement stands in contrast to his previous remarks regarding the destruction of Tehran’s peaceful nuclear facilities and the control of the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

The outlet reported that the U.S. President repeated this point five times during the interview!

In a 20-minute phone conversation with CNN anchor Jim Sciutto, Donald Trump addressed the situation regarding Iran, asserting: It depends on Tehran whether or not they sign a very solid agreement. The answer is that it is highly unlikely that [war] will be necessary.

Seemingly forgetting the crushing defeat his own party suffered in the Congressional midterm elections—a defeat driven by the widespread repercussions of an aggression against Iran, such as soaring living costs and fuel prices in the U.S.—he sought to deflect domestic criticism by claiming: They are a country on the verge of collapse. Just this year, it was revealed that inflation has reached 301 percent. It is highly unlikely that [war] will become necessary. But if it is, I will do it! I dealt them such severe blows that… you have no idea how hard I hit them! The U.S. could destroy 38 bridges in Iran within a single hour, and Tehran has retained only 10 percent of its missile capacity and 15 percent of its drone capabilities! I have three aircraft carriers there [in the region]; they are fully armed and ready for action!

Trump claimed: Therefore, it is highly unlikely that I would have to do such a thing. They are failing financially. We have dealt them a blow militarily. We could finish them off!

In other news, when asked by a reporter, “How does it feel to be a loser?” (Referring to the congressional midterm elections), the American official walked away from the reporters.
