PNN – Referring to Donald Trump’s change of position on war with Iran, a former US congressional official claimed that this political shift occurred after observing worrying poll results.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Former US Congresswoman Margery Taylor Greene criticized Donald Trump’s approach to the war with Iran and recent developments in the region, saying that the US President’s change in positions was influenced by unfavorable poll results.
Green said in a statement: Trump’s change of position and his sudden toughening of stance on Israel, as well as his attempt to end a war with Iran that he himself started, is the result of very poor performance in the polls that he can no longer ignore.
She also added: If Trump had stuck to his “America First” campaign promises from the beginning, these polls would never have been so negative.
Referring to the political consequences of the recent war, the former American official said that distancing himself from campaign slogans and promises has led to a decline in public support for Trump.
