Writing on the platform X, he stated: It appears that the countries of the region have decided to take the issue of regional security into their own hands.
He noted that the significance of this development cannot be underestimated.
A quadrilateral meeting involving Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia was held today, Monday, hosted by Tehran; a statement was issued at the conclusion of the meeting.
According to this statement, the participants agreed to continue discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation among the four regional nations, including in the areas of regional peace and security.
