PNN – A Muslim candidate in the U.S. midterm elections has criticized Washington’s support for the Zionist regime, asserting that the regime cannot be considered a friend of the United States.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Abdul El-Sayed—a Muslim candidate running for the U.S. Senate in the congressional midterm elections—stated in an interview with ABC News that a government which utilizes American funds to drag the U.S. into wars it should not be involved in cannot be considered an American ally.
Comparing the relationship between the U.S. and the Zionist regime to a “friend” who takes money from your child, speaks ill of them behind their back, and embroils them in conflicts with others, he remarked: It is time for the United States to acknowledge that Israel is not a true friend of this country.
Abdul El-Sayed stated: The United States should not have torn up the nuclear agreement with Iran. We were in a position where we could have contained Iran’s nuclear program, and we were on a path toward peace. We should not have entered into wars in the first place.
It is worth noting that Abdul El-Sayed won the Democratic primary for a U.S. Senate seat in the state of Michigan. NBC News reported that he managed to defeat his opponent, despite the fact that groups supporting the Zionist regime had spent tens of millions of dollars in the electoral race.
