US sanctions against Iran, Hezbollah and Cuba

PNN – Continuing its hostile policies, the U.S. Department of the Treasury announced new sanctions against Iran.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al Jazeera, the U.S. Treasury Department stated that new sanctions are being imposed on individuals linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Hezbollah.

The department added: We have included Hezbollah on this list due to its ties to the Iranian regime.

The U.S. Treasury Department added that these sanctions target individuals who facilitate the transfer of hundreds of millions of dollars among Lebanon, Turkey, the UAE, and Iran for the benefit of Hezbollah. New sanctions have also been imposed on Cuba.

It is worth noting that the imposition of these new U.S. sanctions against Iran follows Washington’s military failure in its aggression against our country and its inability to reopen the Strait of Hormuz; the move is intended to mask these setbacks.
