PNN – Iraqi sources report US and Saudi attacks on various areas of Iraq.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al-Mayadeen, several military bases in the Basra and Wasit provinces of southern Iraq have come under attack.

An Al-Mayadeen correspondent reported that military bases in the Al-Dayr area of ​​Basra Province and the Al-Suwayrah area of ​​Wasit Province were targeted.

No details have yet been released regarding the perpetrators of the attacks, the extent of the damage, or potential casualties.

The Al-Mayadeen correspondent also reported hearing explosions in the northern part of Babil Province in southern Iraq, as well as in the Nineveh Plains in the country’s north.

He reported that a facility belonging to the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) was struck by an airstrike during the attack on the Nineveh Plains.

In a related development, the PMF operations command in Basra confirmed that the group’s command headquarters in the city had been hit by an airstrike at 2:00 a.m.

The Al-Mayadeen correspondent also reported an airstrike in the northern part of Karbala province and noted that the sound of an explosion was heard in the Zab area of ​​Kirkuk province, northern Iraq.

The head of the Al-Mayadeen network’s bureau also confirmed the attacks on various areas within Iraqi territory.

The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that, in coordination with U.S. Central Command, it had carried out targeted strikes against militia targets in Iraq.

Meanwhile, the US military confirmed early Wednesday that it had conducted strikes against resistance bases in Iraq in conjunction with the Saudi military.

Iraqi sources had also reported hours earlier that the headquarters of anti-Iranian separatist terrorist groups in Erbil—the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq—had been targeted by explosive drones.
