PNN – A US senator stated: We sent fools to negotiate with Iran’s best negotiators.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing the Senate website, US Senator Ruben Gallego, speaking to MSNBC, explicitly described the American negotiators dealing with Iran-related issues as fools.
The senator said: The issue is that people like [Steve] Witkoff are involved, right? Witkoff is a real estate figure—someone whose work has centered on sales and land-use regulations.
Senator Ruben Gallego added: Why are he and Trump’s son-in-law currently negotiating with Iran on behalf of the United States? These are not the best negotiators we should be sending for this task. We need to sit down and engage in long-term negotiations, but that is not happening right now. We are not utilizing the smartest people in this arena; in fact, the task has fallen to some of the least intelligent individuals involved. And this is happening while we are up against some of Iran’s best negotiators.
