PNN – US Vice President-elect JD Vance claimed that Iran has authorized the maximum flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Vance claimed in an interview with Fox News on Saturday that Tehran had informed Washington it would allow the maximum volume of oil to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
He stated that this arrangement entails a commitment not to fire upon commercial vessels.
While US actions have consistently demonstrated a failure to honor commitments, Vance claims that the US does not “trust” Tehran’s pledge.
The U.S. Vice President stated that Washington is working to establish a route that allows ships to pass safely through the Strait of Hormuz.
Noting that the U.S. has exhausted all its tools of pressure against Iran and has no remaining leverage for bargaining with Tehran, Vance stated that the United States would continue to exert pressure on Iran.
Continuing his interview with Fox News—and ignoring the U.S.-Zionist aggressions in the region that have destabilized the area—he claimed that the core issue in the Strait of Hormuz was Iran’s laying of mines at the onset of the conflict, and that Washington is striving to establish a secure navigation system.
Vance added: We are in the midst of the game, utilizing diplomatic, economic, and military tools to achieve the best outcome for our people.
