PNN – The Wall Street Journal reported that Iran has upgraded its missiles to penetrate American defense systems.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; The Wall Street Journal—citing US officials—reported that by enhancing its missile capabilities, Iran has deployed missiles capable of bypassing US air defense systems and striking sensitive targets with greater precision.
According to the report, U.S. officials claim that during the latest wave of retaliatory attacks on U.S. military positions in West Asia, Iran utilized missiles capable of traveling at very high speeds and maneuvering during the terminal phase of flight—capabilities that make them more difficult for defense systems to intercept.
According to The Wall Street Journal, these officials also claimed that Iran has altered its missile tactics so that the missiles change their trajectory as they approach their targets, thereby increasing the likelihood of penetrating U.S. defense systems.
Meanwhile, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that a Friday attack by Iranian forces on a U.S. military target in Jordan resulted in the deaths of two U.S. service members, injuries to several others, and the disappearance of another.
