PNN – An American newspaper claimed that Iran has made a proposal to other countries regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the American newspaper Wall Street Journal has claimed, citing Iranian officials and mediators, that Iranian authorities are examining options related to joint control of the Strait of Hormuz with other countries and sharing the revenues generated from it.
The report claims that Tehran has raised its proposals to impose tariffs on the Strait of Hormuz with China and Egypt.
Iranian officials have yet to officially respond to or confirm the report.
