PNN – A Zionist analyst stated that Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the UN General Assembly brought the plan to normalize Israel’s relations with regional countries to a complete halt.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Arabi21; Ariel Cohen—a Zionist researcher at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center—said that efforts to normalize relations between the Zionist regime and countries in the region have “come to a complete end” following the speech delivered by the regime’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, at the United Nations.
Cohen remarked that Netanyahu failed to utilize the UN platform to engage with Arab and other regional nations or to improve relations.
He added that all efforts to normalize relations appear to have come to an end, as Netanyahu adopted a hostile stance that alienated not only regional nations but also countries—such as the UK and France—that had been Israel’s allies until recently.
As Netanyahu began his speech on Thursday, delegations from dozens of countries walked out of the UN General Assembly hall in New York—a scene that played out for the second consecutive year. Footage from the hall showed a large number of delegations leaving their seats before the address began. The walkout was accompanied by chanting and protests and other images revealed vast sections of the hall standing empty while he spoke.
Netanyahu sharply criticized France and Britain over their stances regarding the violent assault on the Gaza Strip, stating: It is astonishing that some of those who accuse us of colonialism are in Britain and France. I say to them: Enough is enough; stop lying—you are the ones who colonized the world.
