PNN – GCC countries no longer trust the United States and have consequently increased pressure on Washington.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; this analysis appeared on the news site of the Zionist regime’s Channel 14 regarding the reasons behind the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries’ opposition to an escalation of the US war against Iran. The report stated that GCC nations have lost confidence in the United States and sought to prevent an attack by pressuring Trump; they informed him that they were unwilling to bear the brunt of Tehran’s retaliation—a scenario that would leave Israel facing a perilous alternative: sweeping US concessions to Iran.
Another part of the analysis, read by the expert host of the network’s morning program, stated: Many of us went to sleep last night believing that war in Iran would break out in the coming days, yet we woke up to unexpected developments. This did not surprise me; however, messages I received in recent days from sources in Persian Gulf states led me to a completely different conclusion.
These same sources explained that these countries are unwilling to bear the cost of an Iranian retaliation and are unconvinced that the U.S. would be capable of protecting them or shaping a new regional reality in the aftermath of a war.
This also explains the pressure exerted on (terrorist) President Donald Trump. Gulf States made it clear to him that they were not prepared to bear the brunt of Tehran’s retaliation for the U.S. attack. These nations fear missiles and drones, and are concerned that such operations could rapidly spread to their own facilities and cities.
