PNN – In a report highlighting Tel Aviv’s decision to reduce its reliance on American weaponry, the Zionist newspaper The Jerusalem Post stated that the Zionist regime will begin mass-producing precision-guided bombs (JDAMs) over the next two years.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the Zionist media outlet noted that the plan to expand domestic munitions production was initiated in late 2024 under the directive of Yoav Gallant, the regime’s former Minister of War.
The report indicates that the initiative was prompted by the Biden administration’s imposition of limited restrictions on the sale of certain types of weapons to the Zionist regime—a move that followed decades of heavy reliance on the United States for the supply of such munitions.
The report adds that, in this context, Amir Baram—a senior official at the Israeli Ministry of Defense—had previously identified increasing the production of precision-guided munitions as a key priority for Tel Aviv, emphasizing that decisions to establish and expand production lines for these bombs had already been made.
According to the report, the Zionist regime currently manufactures kits capable of converting conventional free-fall bombs into precision-guided weapons; however, as current production capacity falls short of the regime’s needs, Israeli officials intend to significantly increase production volume.
The Zionist regime had previously acknowledged that, since the outbreak of the war in the Gaza Strip over the past two years, tens of thousands of tons of ammunition and military equipment have been brought into the occupied territories.
The Zionist regime’s Ministry of War released figures stating that, since the start of the Gaza war, 1,000 transport aircraft and 150 ships carrying more than 120,000 tons of weapons and military equipment have been delivered to Israel.
According to the ministry, the military equipment delivered since the war began—the bulk of which came from the United States—includes armored vehicles, ammunition, personal protective gear, and medical equipment.
