Zionists’ Dread of the Morning after the Knesset Elections

PNN – A Zionist analyst has described the catastrophic situation facing the Israeli regime at the time of Netanyahu’s declared victory in the elections.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Giva Leoni Zamir, in an article published in the newspaper Zman Yisrael, described the conditions that would emerge should Benjamin Netanyahu win the upcoming elections.

A passage in this article states: This is the very morning I dread so intensely; I shall surely close the windows before a single whisper can escape, and I will never even ask myself why, from this moment on, I must learn to walk with my head bowed and behave with submissiveness.

For the sake of Benjamin Netanyahu’s continued rule, we will lose Israel… and our children will learn, within that, to remain silent and hold their tongues.

Elsewhere in this article, it is noted: To whom—and how—shall we explain that we were once naive and open-hearted, indifferent to trivial matters yet calculating in our own ways? Some of us even chose to head to the beach or spend our time wandering aimlessly on Election Day. Meanwhile, the leaders of the “Coalition for Change”—at a time when we could have prevented this outcome—were preoccupied with their own self-serving agendas.

A few days have passed since the announcement of the 2026 election results. The ballots are still being tallied amidst the autumn winds. Even the votes cast by soldiers and sailors have now been counted, down to the very last one.

The results shocked everyone who had still held out hope for a change in the cabinet—the cabinet responsible for the October 7 failure (Operation Al-Aqsa Flood) and the subsequent wars.

The headquarters of the “Change Coalition” parties lie deserted. Placards proclaiming a “decisive victory” sit discarded in a corner. Meanwhile, Channel 14 continues its celebrations; Yinon Magal (a pro-Netanyahu host), wearing a cap emblazoned with the words “Decisive Victory,” interviews the appointed ministers.

The Ministries of Environmental Protection, Culture and Sport, as well as the Ministry for Social Equality, are being dissolved. Institutions dedicated to the rights of women and children are also being shut down. Representatives of the coalition argue that the Torah and the rabbis are sufficient, and that there is no need to allocate funds for every progressive whim or desire.

In Arab communities, people wait for nightfall. Another shooting occurs.

Among academics and doctors, individuals are sending out their resumes to seek work abroad. Whoever receives a job offer leaves. Their parents encourage them to go; the parents themselves are elderly and have grown accustomed to the situation. Above all, what matters most is saving their young people (from the conditions that have emerged in Israel).

In the kibbutzim and workers’ settlements, people are bracing themselves for hostile actions. Online, there is a surge in advertisements for home rentals and the sale of personal belongings. Those who hold foreign passports are contemplating their potential destinations for emigration. Yet, even the prospect of leaving has become a source of dread, given the anti-Semitism—often masked as anti-Zionism—prevalent in the very countries to which they had planned to relocate.

Prices are falling, but those intending to leave remain determined to depart. After their children have gone to sleep, couples sit together, discussing the situation via their phones. One argues that they must leave immediately, while the other asks how they could possibly leave their 92-year-old mother behind.
