After his last public appearance in a video recorded in 2005, Yahya al-Sanwar disappeared again until he appeared in the “Ma Khafi Azam” program, which was broadcast on Friday evening, May 27, 2022, on Al-Jazeera.

The Zionists considered Yahya al-Sanwar to be the mastermind of many commando operations, especially the so-called “Tunnel Bomb” operation that targeted the military sites of the Zionist regime for 5 years.

Yahya al-Sanwar’s name was widely mentioned in the “disillusionment” operation, during which a Zionist military site in the east of Rafah was targeted. He, who was known as the designer and architect of the Palestinian prisoner exchange agreement with the Zionist soldier Gilad Shalit, believed that the solution to the release of about 5,000 Palestinian prisoners from Zionist prisons lies in the prisoner exchange deals, and in his recent appearance on the Al Jazeera network, he The efforts of the Qassam battalions during the “Battle of the Holy Sword” to kidnap and capture Zionist soldiers were revealed.
