The Israeli regime illegally seized 13 ships of the Al-Samoud flotilla in international waters.
The Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth also quoted the Israeli Foreign Ministry as claiming that Hamas is behind the Al-Samoud flotilla in order to sabotage the transition to the second phase of the peace plan.
Earlier, Ayoub Habrawi, a member of the board of directors of the Al-Samoud Global Fleet, said in an interview with Al-Mayadeen that the Israeli Navy, while creating obstacles in the path of the flotilla, attacked a number of these ships.
According to his statements, Israeli forces have arrested a number of activists present in the convoy after boarding the ships.
Referring to the history of such encounters, Habrawi emphasized that cutting off contact with some ships and physically confronting activists is a common practice for the Zionist military in such operations.
In this regard, a member of the steering committee of the Global Fleet of Resilience warned that any Israeli aggression or military confrontation with these ships, which are present in international waters, is a clear and obvious example of a violation of international laws and conventions.
