PNN – The Iraqi Prime Minister addressed the status of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) within the government.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; citing Al-Mayadeen, Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi emphasized that the PMF organization is a priority for the Iraqi government. He noted that the country is currently entering a phase of reconstruction following the successful defense of its sovereignty.
He added: We are continuing the process of formalizing the PMF as part of Iraq’s armed forces structure.
Al-Zaidi further stressed that the government’s priority is to build the country upon a robust economy and to resolve problems at their root.
