American soldiers to be deployed in Israel.
According to CNN, after the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) officially approved the sending of THAAD missile defense systems to the occupied territories, it is now reported that the US military will be responsible for controlling and implementing this system.
Based on the plans, at least one hundred American soldiers are supposed to be deployed in the occupied territories and use THAD missile defense systems.
Earlier, in the statement issued by the US Department of Defense, it was stated in this regard: On the order of the US President, the Secretary of Defense (Lloyd Austin) authorized the deployment of a THAAD system and military personnel related to Israel to help strengthen air defense. (!) Israel issued it after Iran’s unprecedented attacks against Tel Aviv on April 13 and again on the first day of October.
The Pentagon statement in this connection adds: This action emphasizes the commitment of the United States to defend Israel and defend Americans in Israel against any further missile attacks by Iran! This is not the first time that the United States has deployed a THAAD system in the region.
