Biden: I asked Israel not to attack UNIFIL!
According to Al Jazeera, the US President did not condemn the attacks of the Zionist regime on the headquarters of the UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon.
On Friday, US President Joe Biden, without condemning the Zionist regime’s attacks against the UNIFIL headquarters, claimed that he asked the Zionist regime not to target the UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon.
Previously, the US Defense Minister said in a similar claim that he asked Tel Aviv to guarantee the security of UNIFIL forces.
The attack on the UNIFIL forces by the Zionist regime was previously accompanied by the reaction of various countries, including Russia, Spain, and also the Secretary General of the United Nations.
Following the attack of the Zionist regime on the headquarters of the UN mission in Lebanon, the government of Paris summoned the ambassador of this regime. However, the French president refused to condemn the attack.
Earlier, a source close to the United Nations peacekeeping forces in Lebanon known as “UNIFIL” announced that the Zionist regime’s soldiers shot at three headquarters of these forces in southern Lebanon.
This source announced that two UNIFIL forces were injured as a result of the Zionist regime’s attack on the headquarters of these forces in southern Lebanon.
The UNIFIL forces also emphasized that the Zionist army had targeted a watchtower the headquarters of the command of these forces in the “Al-Naqourah” area in the south of Lebanon.
