Egypt: International community must act to stop Tel Aviv’s aggression in Syria.
According to Sputnik, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati stressed in a telephone conversation with his American counterpart Anthony Blinken that Cairo opposes the occupation of the buffer zone between Syria and the occupied territories.
He added that the Zionist regime’s moves amounted to the occupation of Syrian territory and a clear violation of the country’s sovereignty.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister called for the intervention of the international community to stop the regime’s aggression against Syria.
Abdel Ati and Blinken discussed developments in Syria and emphasized the start of an inclusive political process in the country.
