PNN – In a statement, the head of the Lebanese Doctors Union said that five hospitals were completely out of service during the attacks of the Zionist regime on this country.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Yusef Bakhash added in an interview with Al Jazeera: 22 hospitals were also damaged in the Zionist regime’s aggression against Lebanon.
He added: Israel (regime) targets everyone without exception, and the healthcare sector has been the direct target of this regime’s attacks, and a number of medical personnel have been martyred and hundreds of others have been injured.
Bakhash said: The Zionist regime is deliberately targeting infrastructure and medical staff with the aim of disabling this sector.

He added: Lebanon’s healthcare sector is currently in a bad state, and Israel must respect international treaties and the Geneva Convention.
The Zionist army started large-scale attacks on various areas of southern Lebanon, which continues to this moment.
According to the report of the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the attacks of the Zionist regime have left about 2,500 martyrs and thousands of wounded.
On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health of Lebanon announced the increase in the number of martyrs of this country in the attacks of the Zionist regime to 2,546 people.
The ministry also announced the number of injured people as 11,862.
