Horrifying statistics from 15 months of brutal war against Gaza; almost 100% destruction.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday in the latest update of the statistics of martyrs and wounded in the Gaza war that the number of martyrs has exceeded 47,000.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in a statement that in the past 24 hours, the bodies of 122 more martyrs were transferred to hospitals, and 341 people were injured.
The ministry added that the number of martyrs of the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, has increased to 47,350 and the number of wounded has increased to 111,091. This is while thousands of people are still missing and under rubble in the Gaza Strip.
This is while most of the martyrs’ figures during this period have resulted from the discovery of new bodies from under the rubble. With the cessation of the war and the establishment of a ceasefire, relief forces have been able to reach previously inaccessible areas, which has led to the discovery of new bodies.
The Displacement Crisis
But apart from the statistics of the martyrs, the injured, and the missing, there are other figures about the destruction and displacement caused by the war in Gaza that indicate the critical situation of this strip.
According to new statistics from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, in this brutal and devastating war of the Zionist regime that lasted for more than 15 months (471 days), nearly 90 percent of the 2.1 million inhabitants of Gaza were displaced as a result of the bombing of this strip.
