Impunity for Israel’s acts of genocide and aggression threatens world security

PNN – On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian Nation, the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan announced their support for the right of self-determination for this nation and the necessary measures to hold the Zionist regime accountable and said: Impunity for Israel’s actions in the genocide of Palestinians and aggression against other countries in the region has endangered world peace and security.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, from the public relations of the Presidential Palace of Pakistan, the President of this country, Asif Ali Zardari, said today in a statement on the occasion of November 29, the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian Nation: This day should be a strong reminder of our shared responsibility to ensure justice and equality for the Palestinian people.

Zardari added: This day is being held while the world is witnessing ethnic cleansing, destruction of infrastructure and residential areas, and the suffering and displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and other occupied Palestinian territories as a result of the continuous military operations and genocide of the Israeli regime.

He said: Over the past year, Israel’s actions, which are a clear violation of international humanitarian laws, have killed more than 45,000 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children. Millions of Palestinians have been deliberately denied humanitarian aid by Israel, and the vital work of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA) as well as other relief agencies has been prevented.

The President of Pakistan emphasized: Israel’s impunity and continuous aggression against other countries in the region have also endangered the peace and stability of the entire region and the world.

The Prime Minister’s Office of Pakistan issued a statement quoting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and announced: On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian Nation, Pakistan strongly condemns the aggressive crimes of the occupying Israeli regime and asks the international community to take immediate and decisive action to end the genocide of the Palestinian people.

He said: Global conscience cannot ignore the plight of millions of people who are facing unprecedented problems due to Israel’s occupation. We believe that the continued occupation and disregard for international laws is the biggest obstacle to achieving peace in the region.

Shahbaz Sharif emphasized: Pakistan also wants an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and emphasizes the necessity of ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, especially the free operation of the UNRWA agency.

He added: On behalf of the people of Pakistan, I once again emphasize our full solidarity with the courageous and resilient Palestinian nation. We will continue to be by their side with the fair and continuous pursuit of the Palestinians’ right to peace, dignity and the right to self-determination.

In 1977, the United Nations approved November 29 as the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. On this day, programs in support of the Palestinian people are held in a number of countries around the world.
