PNN – The disclosure of unprecedented details about the case of two Israeli Air Force soldiers spying for Iran has come as a great shock to Tel Aviv’s security institutions.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; The Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth revealed new details of a spy case for Iran that has shaken the Israeli terrorist regime’s military, as the defendants were employees of the terrorist regime’s air force and had transferred sensitive information to Tehran.
According to the newspaper, the Israeli terrorist regime’s military prosecutor’s office issued an indictment against two soldiers of the terrorist regime’s army who worked as technicians in the air force, on charges of committing security violations for Iranian intelligence agencies.
The two defendants were arrested in March. One of them has been charged with “aiding the enemy in time of war,” “delivering information to the enemy,” and “attempting to communicate with a foreign agent.” The second soldier faces charges including “communication with a foreign agent” and “delivering information to the enemy.”
The two men, who have been in custody since last month, claimed during interrogation that their relationship with Iranian contacts was severed after they refused orders to carry out missions involving military equipment. However, according to the investigation, they tried to re-establish the relationship even after the other party severed the relationship for financial gain.
According to the indictment, the two soldiers were in contact with Iranian intelligence agencies for several months and carried out various missions in exchange for payments. One of them even sent documents related to his military training on “fighter systems” and images of the facilities and interior areas of a military base to an Iranian intelligence agent.
The investigation into the case was conducted by the Israeli terrorist regime’s internal security service, known as the Shin Bet, the police’s crime fighting unit, and the Special Investigations Unit of the Guard. In a statement regarding the indictment, the Israeli terrorist regime’s security institutions once again warned citizens and soldiers against making any contact with agents of countries hostile to the terrorist regime, especially in exchange for money.
In recent years, and especially after the 12-day attacks on Iran, Tehran has increased its efforts to recruit Israeli settlers within the regime. Dozens of cases have been investigated and indictments have been issued. In one of the major cases recently released, individuals named Ami Gidrov (22) and his friends were charged with various charges, including attempting to make an explosive device to assassinate Naftali Bennett, the former prime minister of the terrorist regime of Israel.
