PNN – The Mayor of New York Zohran Mamdani announced: We are examining the possibility of arresting Netanyahu during his visit to New York to attend the UN General Assembly session in September.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; citing Deutsche Welle, New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani stated that he is in discussions with the city’s legal department regarding the possibility of arresting Benjamin Netanyahu—the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime—should he travel to New York to attend the UN General Assembly session in September.

The New York Mayor told The New York Times: We will do whatever the law in New York allows me to do; however, we will not write our own law for this purpose.

Zohran Mamdani added that an “active dialogue” regarding this matter is underway with the New York City Law Department.

He then emphasized that any action would be taken strictly within the framework of existing laws.

The Mayor of New York stated his belief that Netanyahu should be in The Hague—a reference to the seat of the International Criminal Court, which has issued an arrest warrant for the Zionist prime minister on charges of “war crimes in Gaza.”
