Osama Hamdan: America and Israel are buying time and continuing the war.
Osama Hamdan, one of the Palestinian leaders of the Hamas movement, announced in a televised interview with Al-Mayadeen news channel that any negotiation that does not reach its goal will not continue and the Zionists want to intensify the humanitarian crisis.
He added: This obstacle existed from the first day when the “Paris 1” proposal was presented, and we dealt with it realistically.
Hamdan clarified that it was clear from the first day that all the Americans and Israelis wanted was a “temporary ceasefire” and they opposed the permanent cessation of war.
The representative of the Hamas movement in Lebanon emphasized that the Americans and Israelis are maneuvering and buying time.
A senior Hamas official said: Our position was clear from the beginning that any information about the prisoners has a price and we want a written agreement and we will not accept anything less than that.
Osama Hamdan pointed out that if there is no clear answer, one cannot continue spinning in a vicious circle.
