Retired CIA agent: Ukraine was not able to assassinate the Russian general without Western services

PNN – In an interview with Sputnik, the retired agent of the American CIA said that Ukraine had the support of the Western intelligence services for the assassination of the top Russian general.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Sputnik, Larry Johnson, a former member of the US Central Intelligence Agency, CIA, said in an interview that Ukraine was in contact with Western intelligence services before the assassination of Igor Krylov, the head of Russia’s radiological, chemical and biological defense forces.

He emphasized that this complex operation could not have been carried out by Ukraine without the help of Western services.

The retired CIA agent said that Western countries have invested heavily in Ukrainian biological laboratories, and Krylov’s assassination was to facilitate this process.

Krylov, the head of Russia’s nuclear, biological and chemical protection forces, was killed yesterday outside the building where he lives due to the explosion of a bomb planted in an electric scooter.

He was the most senior officer of the Russian army who wa s assassinated inside his country by Ukraine. The Ukrainian intelligence service, which had accused Krylov of using chemical weapons against Ukrainian soldiers, claimed responsibility for the assassination.

The Russian Investigative Committee said in a statement on Wednesday that the arrested suspect told them he came to Moscow on a mission for Ukrainian intelligence services.

Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder told reporters on Tuesday night: We were not aware of this operation in advance. We do not support this type of action.

Matthew Miller, the spokesperson of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told reporters on Tuesday night: The US was not informed of this action in advance and was not involved in it.

However, he made accusations against Krylov and added: He was a general who was involved in several cases of violence and cruelty. He was involved in the use of chemical weapons against the Ukrainian army.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova has accused Ukraine’s western allies of “complicity” in the assassination of Krylov in Moscow.

Dmitry Polyansky, Russia’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, said that Moscow will raise Krylov’s assassination at the December 20 meeting of the United Nations Security Council.
