Sanchez: The international community should stop sending weapons to Israel.
According to Reuters, “Pedro Sanchez”, the Prime Minister of Spain, demanded to stop the sale of weapons to the Israeli regime.
On Friday, the Prime Minister of Spain condemned the attacks of the Zionist regime on the headquarters of the United Nations peacekeeping forces in Lebanon and asked the international community to stop selling weapons to this regime.
Sanchez said: At this stage, let me criticize and condemn the attacks carried out by Israeli forces on the UN mission in Lebanon.
The Spanish Prime Minister said that Spain would stop selling weapons to the Zionist regime in October 2023 and called on the rest of the world to do the same to prevent further escalation in the region.
A UN source announced that Zionist forces opened fire on the headquarters of UN peacekeeping forces in southern Lebanon and injured two people.
On Friday, the Spanish Ministry of Defense announced that none of the Spanish soldiers who were part of the mission were injured. Spain has 650 peacekeeping forces in Lebanon and a Spanish general oversees this mission.
