The wife of the crown prince of England has cancer.
According to Al-Arabiya, “Catherine (Kate) Middleton”, Princess of Wales and wife of Prince William of England, announced that she was diagnosed with cancer and is going through the early stages of chemotherapy.
The 42-year-old wife of the British crown prince said in an emotional video message: “My medical team advised me to start a course of preventive chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of this treatment.
Noting that her cancer diagnosis was a “huge shock” to her and her family, Middleton said: “For the sake of our young family, my husband William and I have done everything we can to deal with it and manage it.”
Prince William’s absence from the ceremony at St. George’s Church in Windsor Castle on February 27 sparked rumors that the announcement of his wife’s cancer has now somewhat clarified the reason for his absence from the ceremony.
