PNN – Continuing its inhumane policies, the Zionist regime has paved the way—through legal amendments—for the use of ferocious crocodiles to torture and intimidate Palestinian prisoners.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; citing RT Arabic, the occupying regime—in an unprecedented move that once again exposed its disregard for human rights—compelled Idit Silman, the Minister of Environmental Protection in Netanyahu’s cabinet, to legally reclassify Nile crocodiles from “dangerous wild animals” to “domesticated wild animals,” thereby facilitating the use of these predators in security-related contexts.
This engineered decision effectively serves as a legal green light for Itamar Ben-Gwer—the regime’s far-right Minister of National Security—to implement his sinister scheme of using wild animals around detention centers where Palestinian prisoners are held.
According to reports leaked in Hebrew media, this scheme is set to be launched on a trial basis at the Ketziot Prison in the Negev Desert. The aim of this measure is not to ensure security, but rather to inflict additional psychological torture on the incarcerated prisoners and break their spirit of resistance. The legislative amendment effectively removes all previous restrictions that limited the use of wild animals to scientific and educational purposes, giving the Prison Service a completely free hand to employ these tools of intimidation.
This inhumane measure is part of a broader agenda pursued by the hardline faction ruling Tel Aviv to worsen detention conditions, further curtail the already minimal rights of prisoners, and exert unconventional forms of pressure.
International observers and human rights groups have condemned this plan, viewing it as a sign of the Zionist regime’s moral bankruptcy; having been driven to desperation by the unyielding resolve of Palestinian prisoners, the regime has now resorted to inhumane, medieval tactics. Undoubtedly, the continued silence of the international community regarding these actions serves as a stamp of approval for complicity with the regime in the blatant violation of the most fundamental human rights principles.
