Trump appointed his personal bodyguard to head the US Secret Service

PNN – “Donald Trump” announced in a post that he appointed his personal bodyguard “Sean Karen” to head the Secret Service of the United States.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from the Axios news site, it seems that Trump chose Karen after she played an active role in thwarting an attempt on his life in Pennsylvania.

Trump wrote on the “Truth” platform in this regard: Sean is a great patriot who has protected my family for the past few years and that is why I trust him to lead the brave men and women of the United States Secret Service.

Trump considered him a gifted leader capable of directing and leading security-operational plans for some of the most complex special security events in US and world history.

He added: Karen showed his bravery when he risked his life to protect me from an assassin’s bullet in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The first assassination attempt on Donald Trump occurred in July 2024; when he traveled to Butler, Pennsylvania to participate in an election rally.

In the wake of the incident, Kimberly Cheatle, then head of the US Secret Service, resigned due to pressure, and Ronald Rowe Jr. took over as interim head of the agency.

Trump was once again the target of an unsuccessful assassination attempt on September 15, 2024.
