Trump: Tomorrow is the beginning of a “new day” in America / Gaza ceasefire is the first step towards lasting peace

PNN – A day before his inauguration, President-elect Donald Trump spoke at a gathering of his supporters in Washington about the beginning of a “completely new day” in the United States, and at the same time called the ceasefire in Gaza the first step towards lasting peace in the Middle East.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting Reuters, the gathering, titled “Making America’s Victory Rally Great Again” started at 3:00 p.m. local time at Capital One Arena in Washington.

Trump supporters wore red jackets and hats emblazoned with his slogan, “Make America Great Again.” Some of them chanted “America, America”.

Trump told his supporters: Starting at noon tomorrow, the curtains of four long years of American decline will be pulled down, and we will begin a completely new day of American power, prosperity, glory, and pride.

Referring to the gathering of his supporters, he said: This is the biggest political movement in the history of America. From tomorrow, I will solve any crisis facing our country with the speed and power of history.

The president-elect of the United States also addressed the issue of immigrants and accused them of “attacking” the American borders. He added: We want to stop the invasion of our borders.

Trump also established a ceasefire in Gaza and said: We reached a great ceasefire agreement this week, which is the first step towards a lasting peace in the Middle East.

He added: This agreement was reached only as a result of our historic victory in the November elections. I am happy that the first group of prisoners was released.

Trump stated: Our incoming administration achieved all this in the Middle East in less than three months. Without me being the president, we have achieved more than they (the Biden administration) have achieved in four years of the presidency.

Trump, who will be inaugurated on Monday, has promised to make sweeping changes on his first day in office, including immigration policies and dismantling parts of the federal government.
