The U.S. Vice President added: These matters will continue to be closely monitored. We have held direct talks with the Houthis, the Emiratis, and the Saudis regarding recent developments. The situation is changing rapidly, and we are keeping a close watch on it to protect our interests.
J.D. Vance then added: We are concerned about the Houthis’ seizure of Mayun (Perim) Island in the Red Sea and are closely monitoring the situation.
