PNN – Regarding a potential Republican defeat in the congressional elections, the U.S. President stated: If that happens, I will become ‘Mr. Veto’.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; U.S. President Donald Trump—who appears aware that his fellow party members might face defeat in the congressional midterm elections due to factors such as their failure to launch a costly act of aggression against Iran—remarked in an interview with Fox News this Sunday regarding a possible Republican loss: If that happens, I will become ‘Mr. Veto’.
The U.S. President continued: Of course, there will be times when we reach agreements. This is not the first time such a situation has occurred—that is, having a president who does not control the Senate or the House of Representatives. After a month or two, once everything has been vetoed, they [the Democrats] will likely come around, and we will reach an agreement.
Donald Trump stated: There is no need for concern regarding this. … If the opportunity arises, I would like to serve (as president) again. The two years remaining in my term are also a significant amount of time.
According to Al Jazeera, Trump claimed in this interview: Certain issues in Iran remain unresolved!
