PNN – The head of the Relief and Employment Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said: The school that was bombed by the Israeli army this morning was supposed to be used as a polio vaccination site.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Al Jazeera, UNRWA President Philip Lazzarini said: The Israeli army once again bombed a school affiliated with the UNRWA agency that housed displaced families in al-Nusirat in the center of the Gaza Strip.
Pointing out that this school was supposed to be used today as a polio vaccination site for Gazan children, he added: The bombing of this site resulted in the death of 20 people and we had to cancel the vaccination there.
The head of “UNRWA” added: Also, the Israeli air attack on the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital burned the tents of the refugees while they were sleeping and created another night of terror for the residents of the Gaza Strip.
