Washington Post: The cancellation of Gallant’s trip to America shows the tension between Washington and Tel Aviv

PNN – The Washington Post, in a report referring to the sudden cancellation of the planned visit of the Zionist Minister of War Yoav Galant to the United States, considered it to be an indication of the tension between Washington and Tel Aviv.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, it is stated in the Washington Post newspaper report that the Minister of War of the Zionist regime in the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) was supposed to meet with the Minister of Defense of this country, Lloyd Austin, and provide him with information about the expansion of this regime’s military operations in Lebanon and Tel Aviv’s possible aggression against Iran, but this trip was suddenly canceled.

According to the report of the Washington Post, the American officials, who asked not to be named, announced that Netanyahu’s sudden cancellation of the Israeli war minister’s planned visit to Washington is a sign of tension between the two old allies and raises doubts that can the Biden government prevent the opening of a new front against the Zionist regime, which is already suffering from a multi-sided conflict or not?

The Washington Post report adds that while Israeli officials have announced that this regime is preparing an attack on Iran, American officials say that Tel Aviv has not informed them about its plans for this attack.

In the continuation of the report of the Washington Post, it is stated that on the other hand, according to an official of the Zionist regime, Prime Minister Netanyahu informed Gallant on Tuesday that he can make his planned trip to Washington only when two conditions are met.

According to this report, Netanyahu’s second condition for the visit of the Zionist regime’s war minister to the United States is the approval of military aggression against Iran by the security cabinet of this regime.

According to the Washington Post, this Israeli official, who, like others, spoke to this newspaper on the condition of anonymity about sensitive issues, stated that Netanyahu had unsuccessfully tried to contact Biden directly in recent days.

The Washington Post report adds: Netanyahu’s office declined to comment on Biden’s reluctance to make phone calls to the Israeli prime minister, but a U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, denied Netanyahu’s claim that Biden had left his calls unanswered.

The report of the Washington Post newspaper states that U.S. officials believe that because of Netanyahu’s failure to support U.S.-backed diplomatic efforts and his failure to heed the U.S. administration’s recommendations, the conflict that began in Gaza has now become a growing regional conflict.

Sabrina Singh, the spokeswoman of the US Department of Defense (Pentagon), announced in a press conference that the visit of Yoav Gallant, the Minister of War of the Zionist regime, to the United States, which was scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed.

He continued by emphasizing: We will cooperate with Gallant’s office, and if his visit is postponed to another date, I am sure that US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin will be happy to host him again in the Pentagon.
